I teach music at Bess T Shepherd Elementary.  Even though I grew up in Hixson, Tennessee, I moved to North Carolina in 1976 and taught music there for 32 years.  I returned to Chattanooga in 2016.  In music class I enjoy  teaching students how to sing and play instruments. My favorite instrument is piano.  I enjoy reading and visiting my son, Daniel, in Washington, D.C.   I am very happy to be a part of this great school!
