Hello My Name Is...

Heather Greene

My name is Heather Greene. This is my 6th year of teaching and my 5th year here at Bess T. Shepherd. I graduated from UTC in 2010 with my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. I taught 1st grade for two years before moving up to 2nd grade.

 On a personal note I was born and raised here in Chattanooga Tennessee. I grew up in East Ridge and attended McBrien Elementary School and East Ridge middle and high school. I have a husband named Nathan and two children Bryce who is 4 years old and Brooklynn who is 1. 

I am continuously trying to seek new engaging ways to teach my students. Teaching is a very rewarding job and I love my students!
