I have a Home Economics degree from UTC, but found my love for bookkeeping when my husband started his own business. I then began a career at a local CPA firm, only to discover 6 years later I was pregnant at the ripe ol' age of 40. Needless to say, the tax season hours were "taxing" on the family, so I began to look for something more flexible. I found my happy place with Hamilton County Schools in March 2008.
